Treecycler platform
Design pitch
Treecycler works with companies to plant trees in reforestation projects around the globe. I worked with them to design an interface for a client proposal. Customers would be directed to a site where they view a map of all possible forestries accepting tree donations. Once the project is selected, they enter their treecycler code and plant a tree. This was an early concept, which launched a partnership between us and another company where ove 10,000 trees were planted.

Users are led to a map with all reforestation projects accepting tree donations. The sidebar included filters, helping narrow down selections by location and the number of trees planted. Hovering over a project also shows the specific location and how many trees have been planted.
Once the project is selected, you can see pictures and read more about the selected forestry. You then enter a Treecycler code and plant your tree.
Working with companies like Treecycler is an absolute pleasure. Seeing first hand how a design is used to affect a positive change in the environment is something I value greatly.
